Dr Jane Hughes,
, is a HEDERA founding partner. She was previously a lecturer at UCL and prior to that worked in secondary education.
At UCL, she was director of the JISC/HEA CPD4HE project and worked on numerous other internally and externally funded educational development projects. She also led the learning technology components of the UCL MA Education.
She has taught at undergraduate, Masters and PhD levels, and served on institutional committees and working groups including Quality Management and Enhancement Committee and on Internal Quality Review panels.
She has a broad interest in interactions between people and technologies, and particularly technology-mediated collaboration and e-learning. Her work often involves collaboration across disciplines, institutions and education sectors.
She is a regular presenter at conferences and publishes on e-learning, online communication and open education.
